New Clients & Booking

Are walk-ins accepted?

Walk-ins are welcome but strongly discouraged because we do not have a full-time receptionist. To guarantee an opening, please book online or call 847-961-4800.

Yes. Our online system displays slots available 2 hours from the current time. For immediate availability sooner than 2 hours, please call us directly.

New Clients: Please arrive 15 minutes early (or complete intake forms online beforehand). Returning Clients: Please arrive 5 minutes early.

Yes. However, we require a parent or guardian to be present in the room during the entire therapy session.

Yes, but please call ahead to schedule your visit. Since we do not have a receptionist on-site, we need to ensure a staff member is ready to assist you.

Gratuity is optional but greatly appreciated. A general guideline is 15-20% of the total service cost.

Membership & Pricing

How does the monthly membership work?

Memberships renew on the 1st of each month. You are charged a discounted rate for a 60 or 90-minute session, which adds one credit to your account. Credits roll over if unused.

Yes, there is a one-time enrollment fee of $49. This is not an annual fee; you only pay it once as long as your membership remains active.

Yes. You can share credits with immediate family members. Please add their full name, email, and cell number to your booking notes so we can create their profile.

Yes, you may pause your membership for up to 3 months per year. Your auto-renewal will stop, but your account must remain in good standing.

Pausing: Credits are saved and converted to prepaid sessions. Canceling: Unused credits are converted to prepaid sessions or Gift Certificates. Prorated refunds are not available.

No. Member rates are already set to our lowest possible price. Promotional “flash sales” are exclusive to non-members.

Medical & Therapy

Will insurance pay for therapeutic massage?

We do not accept medical insurance or Medicare. However, we do accept HSA and FSA cards. We can also provide a receipt for you to submit to your provider for reimbursement.

Some discomfort (“good hurt”) may occur as we release deep muscle tension. Always communicate your tolerance level to your therapist immediately so they can adjust pressure.

A doctor’s prescription is advisable if you have a specific medical condition or have recently had surgery.

Yes. We offer specialized prenatal and postnatal massages designed for safety and long-term pain relief for mothers-to-be.

For general maintenance, once a month is typical. For chronic pain, we recommend weekly sessions until relief is achieved, followed by a maintenance plan.

Longer sessions allow the therapist to focus deeply on specific problem areas (like frozen shoulders or back injuries) rather than rushing through a full-body routine.

Before & After Care

Should I eat before my massage?

Avoid heavy meals right before your appointment to prevent bloating and discomfort. If necessary, choose a light snack like fruit or crackers.

Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. During the session, you may undress to your comfort level; you will be properly draped with a sheet at all times for privacy.

Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins. We also recommend a warm bath with 3 cups of Epsom salt to reduce any next-day soreness.

Please remove all jewelry for your safety and comfort. You can place it in the container provided in the room or leave it at home.

Please turn off or silence all phones and devices to maintain a serene, distraction-free environment for yourself and other clients.

Policies

What is the cancellation policy?

We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within this window, or no-shows, will be charged 100% of the service fee.

If you arrive late, your session will be shortened to end at the scheduled time so we do not delay the next client. Full payment is still required.

Due to our demanding schedule and to prevent no-shows, we require prepayment for all appointments (except for active members).

We maintain a strictly professional environment. Any inappropriate comments or behavior will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund.

No. Monthly payments grant you a service credit and are non-refundable. The enrollment fee is also non-refundable.
